Best Before Date is an indication of the Product quality.

In PIER you should choose the Best before date regarding your batch.

Use by Date indicates when the product may no longer be safe to eat.

You should not eat, cook, or freeze it after the date displayed, even if it looks or smells fine.

In PIER if your product is highly perishable you should select Use by Date for it.

In case you enter Use by Date the customer will only see Use by Date instead of Best Before date.
